The Three Lions to Begin Euro 2028 Quest at the Etihad Stadium
The English squad will commence their Euro 2028 campaign at the the home of Manchester City, provided that they attain the anticipated entry for a competition hosted across most of the United Kingdom and the Ireland.
Manchester City’s home ground has not staged an Three Lions game since May 2016, when the visitors were beaten 2-1 in a friendly, but is highly likely to host the England side for their opening fixture on a Saturday in June 2028.
The English side are set to play their final two group matches at Wembley, but, if they top their group, their last-16 tie would take place at Newcastle’s St James’ Park. Finishing second would mean beginning the knockouts at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The championship was unveiled at an event in central London on Wednesday evening. High-ranking officials from Uefa and the host FAs were barracked as they arrived the location by around fifty activists, who urged Israel to be kicked out from the sport because of the conflict in Gaza.
Banners were raised with messages stating “Show Israel the red card” and “You are complicit”, while demonstrators shouted: “Kick Israel out.”

The Ireland are set to play their first game at the Dublin Arena and the Tartan Army would play similarly at Hampden Park.
The national sides of all four hosts will enter the qualifying tournament; two reserved places will be held in reserve for any that fail to qualify for the tournament through the qualification path.
