The Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Zodiac Sign

This return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the community. From the gradual unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the title's release, to trainers developing strong opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to anticipate.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries far more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Remain on the friendly side of both and benefit from a powerful ally; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Similar to a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its standard and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their side to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unabashed love of snacks. Many previous Pokédex entries mention their craving for sweet tree sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Super Medicham

Look at this total royalty. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, offering an endless fountain of chatter to those who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Mega Medicham captivating an whole Wild Zone with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to foresee an enemy’s next moves, which seems very similar to a people-smart Gemini.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a intense symbol known for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's excessive for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. It is also known for its capability to create a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you think I was going to select Pyroar for the king of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Fans were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Lion offers to the table. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be putting on a show, albeit for aliens.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this creature's whole lineage, from a always shocked expression like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive being, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are many Libras who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to worry more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. As a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to foresee disasters ahead of time? That gives the identical vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also extremely Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
