This return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the community. From the gradual unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the title's release, to trainers developing strong opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to anticipate.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this creature's whole lineage, from a always shocked expression like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive being, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are many Libras who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to worry more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. As a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is innumerable.
