The ex-lawyer for the former president has left her position as the US Attorney for New Jersey. This decision was prompted by a court battle that challenged her eligibility to occupy the role.

Official Departure

US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, accepted the prosecutor's departure on Monday. She commented that the judicial decision made it "untenable" for Habba to effectively run her office.

"Let no one confuse compliance for surrender," Habba stated. "The effort will now extend throughout the country."

Judicial Challenge

The departure was triggered by a judicial panel found that she had been unlawfully serving as the federal prosecutor. This decision is could influence numerous legal proceedings in New Jersey.
