Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
