Passionate fans of the pop star are demanding that a man who jumped a fence and seized the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and rushing toward Grande while the actors proceeded down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being taken in", though court documents indicated that he was due to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile includes clips of him disrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the city last year.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," commented an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Followers Voice Worry Over the Star's Well-being

Several supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more message on Instagram.

A number of attendees also faulted event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for digital services to block Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Numerous of attendees had congregated in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be premiered on 21 November, is the sequel of a dual adaptation of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which centers on the unlikely friendship between two contrasting characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and received ten award recognitions, securing a pair for best costume and artistic direction.
